Company Description Sous Chef - Sandringham Visitor Centre - £14 to £16.50 per hour Benugo are looking for a Sous Chef o join the team at our beautiful restaurant within the Sandringham Estate. We serve a seasonal menu with British classics from locally sourced ingredients in the restaurant, as well as a range of freshly made sandwiches, cakes and carbon neutral coffee in the cafes. The venue is open 7 days per week, daytime only. Shifts range from 8am to 6pm. We will require you to work weekends. Rate: £14ph to £16.50ph (depending on experience) Contract: permanent / full time Working as a Sous Chef for Benugo will require you to be an ambassador for this brand and deliver food that creates lasting memories. You will not only support the Sous/Head Chef in the day to day running of the venue but also act as a mentor to the junior kitchen brigade. Job Description Key Responsibilities: To prepare food to a high standard in any area required by the senior chefs To assist in any extra functions. To provide to a consistently high standard for functions and different dining areas. To manage the Client Dining, hospitality and conference food offers when requested by senior chefs To assist in the training of junior staff To ensure smooth running of daily operations Hygiene and personal hygiene checks Staff food standards Waste control To ensure all Health, Hygiene and Safety requirements are being adhered to as described in the Benugo Health & Safety Policy Qualifications Very well organised and ability to prioritise work load Ability to work under pressure Excellent standards Experience in working in a star hotel or restaurant is desirable Able to work effectively as part of a team Attention to detail Strong communication skills Additional Information Benugo has built a culture of inclusivity & progression for all employees.
