We’re looking for a Sous Chef to join our team at Bearded Bella — someone who thrives in a busy kitchen, takes pride in their craft, and can confidently support the Head Chef in leading and motivating the team. This role is perfect for a chef with strong organisational skills who enjoys being hands-on while helping to shape daily operations and customer satisfaction.

• Lead daily kitchen operations – support smooth prep, service, and plating with consistency.
• Support the Head Chef – step up in their absence and help manage the kitchen team effectively.
• Train and mentor – guide junior chefs, share skills, and foster teamwork.
• Manage resources – oversee stock, suppliers, and ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.
• Maintain standards – uphold food safety, hygiene, and presentation at all times.
• Collaborate on menus – contribute ideas for seasonal specials and new dishes.
• Take responsibility – bring a proactive, solution-driven approach to managing people and operations.
