Our team of caring professionals work together to make our senior residents feel at home in our communities.   We are looking to hire a Sous Chef to join our team. The Sous Chef is responsible for preparing and assisting the Executive Chef with kitchen operations. This position also assists with maintaining a clean and safe work environment.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Prepare and cook meals for residents * Assist the Executive Chef with overseeing daily kitchen operations * Maintain the highest quality food products and service for our seniors * Maintain kitchen sanitation and safety standards * Ensure compliance with state, local, and regulatory agencies as they relate to Food Service * Manage the entire kitchen in the Executive Chef’s absence * The sous chef could be the last line of defense to make sure each piece of food is safe, prepared correctly and tasty.
