Our Panorama location is a Training and Field Test Store, with great opportunities for personal and professional development. With a well rounded menu, there is lots of room to grow already budding Culinary Skills and interest.
We are currently looking to expand our Culinary Team with one eager and driven Sous Chef.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
- Oversee food preparation and presentation in the kitchen
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Interviewing , training and supervising BOH staff
- Creating shift schedules and managing labour costs
- Managing the kitchen environment; Equipment cleanliness and repair calls
- Ordering all food products and supplies
- Inventory and Food Cost management
- Developing strong relationships with the team and creating great culture.
Required Skills & Experience:
· 1-2 years proven experience as a Sous Chef in a restaurant setting
· 5 years plus of cumulative experience in the restaurant industry
· Proven leadership and exceptional culinary skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
· An entrepreneurial spirit
