COMPANY DESCRIPTION

We are a craft brewery established in 2015. Since then we have developed a restaurant within the brewery (our taproom) that seats upto 130 people both indoors and outdoors. We have also developed a wedding venue on site in our 14th century Corn Mill that overlooks our brewery and restaurant. We are extremely passionate about what we do with a clear focus on the customer experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As Sous Chef at Carlingford Brewing Co., you will be an integral part of our kitchen leadership team. You will work closely with the Head chef to oversee kitchen operations, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards for quality, presentation and consistency. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for food and looking to help run a busy kitchen.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a busy kitchen, works well in a team, be creative and well organised with a strong passion for food. You will have the opportunity to grow with the business and establish a successful career with us.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Reporting directly to the restaurant manager
  • Food prep
  • Organising of rota
  • Food ordering
  • HACPP and all relative paperwork
  • Weekly stock take
  • Receiving and organising of deliveries
  • Working closely with both restaurant manager and general manager to ensure smooth running of operations
