SOUS CHEF

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM start, 40 hours per week
Salary: £20.94 per hour

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with the Head Chef to deliver exceptional culinary standards. You’ll be responsible for leading and motivating a team, ensuring smooth kitchen operations, and producing outstanding dishes in a high-profile corporate environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Head Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen.
  • Lead and inspire the team to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Oversee stock management and ordering to maintain efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Maintain strict compliance with food hygiene and health & safety standards.
  • Contribute to menu development with creative and innovative ideas.
