A Craft & Cleaver Sous Chef is the lifeblood of our kitchen with a passion for high standards & excellent food. As Sous you’ll need to have a strong head, leadership qualities, have experience in a similar role in a mid-high volume restaurant, and support your Head Chef and rest of the team through thick & thin.
We’re looking for a Sous Chef we can nurture in to a Head Chef. The ability to drive and assist with our growing wedding and events business is paramount.

Responsibilities

·Working alongside the Head Chef to ensure the smooth running of a busy kitchen - ordering, food prep, team management, menu development etc.

  • Build a positive & constructive relationship with your Head Chef and the management team to deliver and exceed targets & expectations
  • Working alongside your junior team to support, inspire & develop them
  • Maintaining & driving forward our high standards throughout the team & environment
  • A ‘customer first’ mindset - we’re nothing without our guests
  • Build & maintain relationships with our suppliers
  • Diligent stock & labour control with an eye for detail
