We are looking for a talented Sous Chef for the 4 Silver Star Two AA rosette awarded Crowne Plaza Reading
The fully refurbished Hotel , has 174 spacious bedrooms, a Conference Centre with 8 meeting rooms for up to 180 in the largest suite, extensive Esprit Wellness & Spa facilities and a multi-outlet food and beverage operation which includes the Caprice 2AA Rosette restaurant
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS.
Candidates with a stable employment background and previous experience working in AA rosette kitchens will be preferred.
You must also be capable of maintaining the accolades and consistency within this multi million pound food operation in the kitchen, with the objective of attaining 2 AA rosettes.
You will be required to proactively support the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef to manage a brigade of 11 chefs and 3 stewards (no agency staff)
This position will require the Sous Chef to assist in running service and ensuring all HACCP & COSHH procedures are followed to the highest of standards to maintain the 5 star EHO rating.
