Duties:
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of dishes to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan menus, develop recipes, and manage food inventory.
- Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to food handling and safety regulations.
- Manage kitchen supplies and inventory, ordering materials as needed.
- Develop and implement cost-effective solutions to reduce food waste and optimize kitchen operations.
- Train and mentor new kitchen staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous learning.
- Assist with catering events, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Skills:
- Proven experience in a restaurant management or food service management role.
- Strong understanding of food industry regulations and practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
