We are looking for a experienced Sous Chef to help grow our food experience , you must love what you do and want to create a lasting impression on our customers that will make them want to return again and again. You must be confident, self-motivated, organised and be ready to stand in for the Head Chef on days off or holidays etc. You must have a genuine passion for using fresh ingredients and locally produced foods with an overall aim to produce great tasting, memorable food.
Microwave chefs need not apply!
In return we want to help nurture your management skills and tap into your passion by having a changing seasonal menu and access to our kitchen gardens. We also realise chefs need for that work-life balance and have a great staff accommodation if required, full access to our health club with stunning views of the Lyth Valley, and we are only 10 minutes from the bustling town of Bowness-On- Windermere.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a kitchen environment
  • Strong culinary skills with a focus on food safety and hygiene
  • Leadership abilities to supervise kitchen staff and manage food production
  • Background in hospitality and restaurant settings
  • Team management experience to foster a collaborative work atmosphere
  • Ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation

    Pay: £29,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
