We’re working with a well-established, quality-driven restaurant located in a beautiful village just outside Reading. This venue has built a strong reputation for its fresh, seasonal menus, attention to detail, and consistently high standards.
They are now looking for a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join a strong team and maintain the consistency and reputation that has been built.
Responsibilities
Working closely with the Head Chef and wider F&B team to ensure smooth daily service
Supporting with menu execution, prep and service, maintaining presentation and portion standards
Leading sections of the kitchen and stepping up in the Head Chef’s absence
Helping to manage kitchen flow during busy periods, including occasional private events or functions
Bringing enthusiasm, professionalism, and a can-do approach to a lively, close-knit team
