As the second-in-command in our kitchen, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to create exceptional culinary experiences for our discerning guests. Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing Room service & Fine Dining orders & operations and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation Develop and implement innovative menu items, focusing on both local and international cuisines Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain excellent culinary standards Manage food cost control, inventory, and kitchen budgets Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment Collaborate with the front-of-house team to enhance guest satisfaction and address any culinary concerns Step in for the Executive sous Chef when necessary, demonstrating strong leadership and decision-making skills Participate in menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation improvements Qualifications Culinary degree or diploma from a reputable culinary school Minimum 5 years of experience in fine dining restaurants, with at least 2 years in a leadership role Proven expertise in advanced culinary techniques, menu development, and kitchen management Strong knowledge of international cuisines, particularly Middle Eastern and Western Excellent food cost control and inventory management skills Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team Up-to-date food safety certification Proficiency in kitchen management software and Microsoft Office suite Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Creativity and passion for culinary innovation Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus Ability to work in Saudi Arabia (valid work visa or citizenship) Job-Category: Culinary Job Type: Permanent Job Schedule: Full-Time
