    You are a Sous Chef, with a passion for food and experience with leading a team you can be proud of.     This position would report into the Executive Sous Chef, where you will be overseeing production in our dedicated Hot and Cold Kitchen operations, which will be launching our new Ready to Eat direct to consumer product line of Appetizers, Sauces, Soups, and Meals.

Responsibilities
  • Leading our new Kitchen Team that will process, prep, cook, plate, and package a variety of Ready to Eat products for a direct to consumer delivery business.
  • Responsible for the Kitchen’s labour, grocery, and supplies budget performance under a weekly rotating menu schedule
  • Be fully accountable for all product quality, taste, presentation as well as on time, and in full order fulfillment within a CFIA registered facility
  • Ensure the kitchen operates alongside provincial and federal health and safety codes
  • Ensure we have the right equipment and supplies to keep up with ever expanding list of recipes and rapidly growing customer volumes
  • Work to continuously improve processes and results, collaborating with other departments to execute facility-wide initiatives
  • Collaboratively partner with our Purchasing and Warehouse teams to ensure we the have the right quality and quantity of ingredients on hand to meet customer orders, while reporting accurate ingredient yields and usage
