We are currently seeking a creative, innovative and meticulous Sous Chef to join our Culinary team.
The on target earning potential for this role is £51,800 per annum - comprising a base salary of £44,800, plus a qualified estimate of £7,000 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

  • A key, senior member of the Culinary team, you’ll nurture and develop our talent, creating an environment that brings out the best in individuals and where they can be themselves
  • You’ll be a driving force behind the culinary excellence that defines our vibrant all-day dining and refined evening offerings
  • Supporting our Head Chef, you’ll lead a passionate kitchen brigade, ensuring that every plate served reflects precision, creativity, and the unmistakable charm of Gleneagles Townhouse, leading and inspiring the brigade across all services
  • Playing a key role in menu development, kitchen operations, team mentoring, you’ll uphold the highest standards of quality and consistency
  • Whether it’s crafting seasonal Scottish fare or enhancing our member and guest experience with elegant presentation and bold flavours, your commitment to excellence and collaboration will be at the heart of it all.
  • Making sure our operation runs without hitch, orders and deliveries are coming and going as needed, our service is smooth and our food hygiene standards are sky-high
  • Supporting our Head Chef on ideas and techniques that make our kitchen a creative, ever-changing environment where we’re always looking to come up with new, delicious combinations of taste
