PERSONAL QUALITIES AND JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • You have a passion for cooking and delighting guests
  • You have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or are ready to advance in your kitchen career
  • Interest in organic and sustainable trends
  • Available full-time; some flexibility for days off can be discussed
  • Knowledge of HACCP is required
  • Ideally, you live in or near Amsterdam
  • Proficiency in English is required; Dutch is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Work with the team to create delicious dishes with a focus on vegetables
  • Assist with placing orders, and handling HACCP and related administration
  • Support the Head Chef in menu creation, offering input as needed
  • Aid in the purchasing process and assist with managing ingredient orders
  • Participate in procurement planning and support maintaining good relationships with suppliers
  • As a conscientious Sous Chef, work to minimize waste
  • Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and add fun to the kitchen environment
