SOUS CHEF REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef, Kitchen Supervisor, Junior Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager in a respected kitchen or operation
  • Experience with high-quality seafood and its fabrication
  • Excitement for delivering ingredient-driven high-quality food to the guest
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills and the ability to genuinely motivate others
  • Flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that all food meets the highest standards of quality and consistency in collaboration with and in support of leadership
  • Provide high quality, genuine customer service
  • Proactively lead, mentor and coach the team including hands on in FOH and BOH
  • Administrative duties to include: ordering, receiving, quality control, and inventory of all product
  • Create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction
  • Ensure the restaurant is clean, sanitized, and organized at all times, adhering to established food safety guidelines
