We are looking for an experienced SOUS CHEF to join our talented team at Borough and Parlour Minneapolis.
Job Title: Sous Chef
Job Summary: The Sous Chef provides supportive leadership to kitchen staff throughout food service. The duties include assisting the Chef de Cuisine in monitoring kitchen productivity, expediting orders to ensure quality taste or presentation, ensuring the high quality of food, managing the kitchen staff in accordance with budgets, and maintaining the kitchen’s hygiene and safety standards. The Sous Chef takes on additional responsibilities in the CDC’s absence to ensure that kitchen staff has proper direction.
Reports to: Chef de Cuisine

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of culinary leadership-management experience in a full-service restaurant.
  • Excellent time-management and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with Office 365, Toast, and Margin Edge preferred but not required.
