KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.
  • Energetic, reliable, and detail-oriented with a strong focus on guest service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Journeyman and Red Seal certification are assets.
  • Minimum of two years supervisory experience.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of cooking styles.
  • Proven interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent personal Hygiene.
  • Ability to work in an open kitchen.
  • Ability to accurately cost menu items and conduct monthly inventory.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Excellent work ethic and cleanliness.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage daily front-of-house operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house staff, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to company standards.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally to guarantee guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of the dining area, bar, and other public spaces.
  • Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Lead by example, fostering a positive, team-oriented environment while ensuring high service standards are consistently met.
