OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in fine dining and banquet settings. As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining exceptional standards of food safety and service.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurant management or fine dining environments.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary arts.
  • Familiarity with banquet service and large-scale food production.
  • Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Experience in bartending or knowledge of beverage pairings is a plus.
  • Previous experience working within a dietary department is advantageous but not required.
