From the kitchen you will prepare the dishes for restaurant The Livingroom, part of the Babylon Hotel in The Hague. You work closely with the Head Chef and replace him during his absence. Dishes only leave your kitchen when they look as good as they taste. Whether it’s the first breakfast of the day or the last dessert late at night. Preparing lunches and dinners for groups who have booked a meeting package is a fun challenge! This can be for 12 people but also 130. As a Sous-Chef, it goes without saying that you are completely up to date with preparation techniques, food trends and ingredients.
Moreover, you know exactly how to transfer this knowledge with enthusiasm to your team and the guests. In addition, you will train and supervise our apprentices and trainees. You see it as your mission to make processes, products and menus every day just a little bit better than the day before. You know exactly how to organize your workday so that you never run out of time and are not afraid of a creative menu brainstorm. This way you make your own workday and that of your colleagues different every day.
