We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Sous Chef who will be helping the Head Chef in the day to day running of the kitchen and ensuring that all food is made to the highest quality.

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

· You must have experience in cooking with fresh food
· Experience in a fast-paced kitchen
· We are looking for organised chefs who thrive working in a team.
· Experience as a Grill Chef, Line Chef, Commis Chef looking to step up or anything in between….

Responsibilities

· Prep various ingredients such as meats and vegetables
· Complete customer orders in a timely manner
· Clean the kitchen space after cooking each meal and ensuring the prep area and kitchen is cleaned and sanitised at the end of your shift
· Rotate stock items as per established procedures
· Restock the pantry and fridge as necessary
· Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
Assist the Head Chef in the daily running of the kitchen
