We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food preparation, ensuring that all kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in supervising food production, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and fostering a positive work environment within the kitchen.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a cook or in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and hygiene standards.
  • Familiarity with food production processes and inventory management.
  • A passion for culinary arts with the ability to inspire creativity within the team.
  • Previous experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential.

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation techniques and safety standards.
  • Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless communication between the kitchen and dining area.
  • Handle any customer complaints or feedback regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.
  • Support the team during peak service times by assisting with cooking, plating, or bartending as required.
