Your tasks

As sous-chef, you are the right hand of the head chef and make a significant contribution to the organization and quality of our cuisine:

• Support and representation of the head chef in all operational and administrative areas
• Ensuring a smooth kitchen workflow with high quality and cost-effectiveness
• Leadership, motivation and further development of the kitchen team
• Contributing to the design and further development of our menus (à la carte, set menu, events)
• Responsibility for the use of goods, cost calculation and adherence to budget guidelines
• Control of goods orders, warehousing and product quality
• Ensuring compliance with all hygiene regulations (HACCP)
• Active participation in day-to-day operations

Your profile

This is what you bring with you

• Completed training as a cook / chef
• Several years of experience as Chef de Partie or in a comparable position
• Leadership with a down-to-earth approach
• Organizational talent & economic thinking
• High quality standards combined with pragmatic working methods
• Team spirit, resilience and a desire to work on an island
• good to very good English language skills
