Job Details Job Location: Easton, PA 18045 Northampton Country Club is seeking a passionate and driven Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team. This role supports the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations while helping deliver high-quality dining experiences for our members and guests. The Sous Chef will play a key role in daily service execution, staff leadership, food quality, and maintaining the standards of excellence expected in a private country club setting. Key Responsibilities Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations across member dining, events, banquets, and club functions Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency, efficiency, and professionalism Execute menus with a strong focus on quality, presentation, and flavor Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health code compliance at all times Assist with ordering, inventory control, and cost management Support menu development, specials, and seasonal offerings Ensure proper food preparation, portioning, and plating standards Step into a leadership role during service and in the Executive Chef’s absence Foster a positive, team-oriented kitchen culture Qualifications Qualifications 3+ years of professional culinary experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities Prior experience in a country club, hotel, fine dining, or high-volume scratch kitchen preferred Strong understanding of classical and contemporary cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain) Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays A passion for hospitality and member satisfaction What We Offer Competitive salary, commensurate with experience Health benefits and additional club-provided benefits Paid time off Opportunities for professional growth and development A collaborative, supportive work environment within a respected private club
