Description
  • Chef’s duties include creating and cooking meals unique to the restaurant and training and leading a kitchen staff. The Chef is someone capable of preparing uniform dishes. They are also responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Menu planning: Create new dishes, research ingredients and suppliers, and plan menus
  • Food preparation: Prepare ingredients, season meats, and cook dishes
  • Food quality: Ensure food is high quality, presented well, and served on time
  • Food safety: Maintain food safety and hygiene standards, and inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas
  • Kitchen management: Hire, train, and supervise cooks and other food preparation workers
  • Delegation: Delegate tasks to kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner
  • Inventory: Control stock and inspect deliveries
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
    Pay: £13.50 per hour
