THE OPPORTUNITY Piedmont Driving Club is seeking a Sous Chef for the Park Room (PM) in our main clubhouse. In this role, you will serve as a key leader within our à la carte culinary team, preparing elegant, upscale, and exceptional meals for our members. You have a passion for great food and take pride in upholding the club’s high standards while consistently exceeding expectations. As a leader, you will supervise and support your team, ensuring a collaborative and efficient kitchen environment. You will guide kitchen staff in following recipes and procedures, maintaining the highest levels of quality, consistency, and timeliness in every dish served. WHAT YOU'LL DO Prepare items according to standard recipes Ensure safety and compliance in the kitchen to ensure safe, sanitary food-handling practices Manages food production including menu writing and development, ordering, costing, recipe creation, execution, and employee supervision for all Park Room kitchen staff WHAT YOU'LL EARN Wage: $60,000 to $65,000 Medical insurance with employer-subsidized premiums 401(k) retirement savings plan with company participation Paid time off accrued weekly Weekly pay with on-demand access for emergencies Complimentary parking, uniforms, and daily shift meals Requirements WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 4+ years of experience in kitchen preparation and professional cooking Experience with a la carte food prep and production Strong knife skills Food safety certification preferred High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred ARE YOU THE RIGHT FIT?
