Job Description We’re looking for a passionate and driven Sous Chef – Pastry to support the leadership of our pastry kitchen and help drive high-quality, creative offerings across restaurant and event service. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll work closely with the Head Chef and Executive Chef to oversee daily pastry operations, ensuring consistency, quality and efficiency across the resort. You’ll play a key leadership role in guiding the team, maintaining standards and contributing to menu development in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support the day-to-day operations of the pastry kitchen Deliver high-quality pastry across à la carte and conference & events service Drive menu development and contribute fresh, creative ideas Maintain consistency, presentation and food safety standards across all production Lead, train and develop junior chefs Coordinate with wider kitchen teams to ensure smooth and efficient service Support stock control, ordering and waste management practices Foster a positive team culture and continuous improvement mindset Qualifications Trade qualified in Patisserie with strong pastry experience in a hotel or similar environment Proven experience in high-volume or conference & events operations highly regarded Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP and kitchen compliance standards Creative approach with strong attention to detail and presentation standards Demonstrated ability to lead by example and support team development Strong organisational skills and ability to perform under pressure Positive, professional attitude with a genuine passion for pastry and teamwork Additional Information Why work for Accor?
