SOUS CHEF (LIVE IN/LIVE OUT) - THE BRICKMAKERS, WINDLESHAM

  • Competitive basic salary of up to £35,000 pa
  • Plus annual bonus £3,000 pa

    The Brickmakers in Windlesham are looking for a Sous Chef with a real passion for quality fresh food to join us. You will be able to demonstrate good people management skills and have previous experience working in a similar busy fresh food environment.
    Our chefs are real foodies who love cooking and being part of a busy service. They are passionate about working with seasonal, fresh produce, creating new dishes and supporting the head chef. Our chefs have ambitions to one day lead their own team, which is an ambition that is often fulfilled, with Pearmain’s commitment to promoting from within.
    This is a hands-on Sous Chef role and you will work across all areas of the kitchen, ensuring high standards are met and assisting the head chef and other sous chefs to run the kitchen smoothly. You will be working in a modern well-equipped kitchen within a brigade of 9 chefs and 3 kitchen porters. You will be involved in a variety of duties including: Fresh food preparation; ordering and stock control; adhering to food safety and cleaning standards and helping to train and develop junior chefs.

Who are we:
Pearmain Pubs are a small group of 4 independently owned ‘smart food-led pubs’ located in Surrey and Middlesex. Our other pubs are the Red Lion, Horsell, The Three Horseshoes, Laleham and The Old Plough, Cobham
