Responsibilities
  • Taking charge of the kitchen during service, especially in the Head Chef’s absence
  • Supporting menu development with bold, inspired ideas that fit Beira’s vibe
  • Training and mentoring junior chefs on technique, consistency, and pace
  • Managing stock, supplier orders, and daily prep with an eye on quality and cost
  • Monitoring portion sizes and food waste to keep operations sharp
  • Owning standards in food hygiene, health & safety, and kitchen cleanliness
  • Helping to maintain a smooth, efficient back-of-house that’s built on mutual respect
