WHO WE ARE
Restaurant De Zakkendrager is a lively and busy restaurant located in a unique spot in the heart of Utrecht. We serve French-Mediterranean cuisine and are open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. We focus on providing personal attention to our guests combined with truly delicious food. On an average evening, we welcome around 70 to 120 guests. You’ll be working in a close-knit kitchen team of 4 to 5 colleagues.
As Sous Chef, you are one of three leaders in our kitchen. You ensure that all dishes are prepared according to our established quality standards, methods, and recipes. Creating high-quality, truly tasty food is your passion.
Of course, you’re not doing this alone—you’ll be working with a team consisting of the Head Chef, another Sous Chef, freelance chefs, lunch chefs, and part-time kitchen staff. While leading the team, you’ll also be hands-on in the daily operations.
