As our Sous Chef, you’ll be the working lead in the kitchen, preparing high-quality meals and guiding cooks to ensure consistency, safety, and exceptional presentation. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Director, you’ll play a hands-on role in daily food production, inspire creativity in the kitchen, and help design innovative menus and events that delight our residents and guests. WHAT YOU’LL DO Lead by Example – Prepare, cook, and plate meals to the highest standard, setting the tone for food quality and consistency. Guide the Kitchen Team – Provide daily direction, informal coaching, and quality checks to keep the kitchen running smoothly. Get Creative – Assist with menu creation, plan daily specials, and bring fresh ideas for themed events and special occasions. Manage Inventory – Help with receiving, storing, and rotating food and supplies to ensure freshness and minimize waste. Champion Safety & Cleanliness – Ensure food handling, health, and sanitation standards are always met. Support the Team – Step in wherever needed to keep service on track and residents happy. Requirements WHAT YOU BRING High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training a plus 2+ years of cooking or food preparation experience in a commercial or institutional kitchen Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices Food handlers card Excellent teamwork and communication skills Ability to act as a working lead and coordinate kitchen workflow without formal supervisory duties WHY REVEL?
