We are seeking a Sous Chef to support our Head Chef and play a pivotal role in delivering French-inspired cuisine using the finest seasonal Australian produce.

Responsibilities

As Sous Chef, you will:

  • Assist the Head Chef in developing and executing French-inspired, seasonal menus.
  • Take a hands-on leadership role in the kitchen, supervising staff and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen management, including rostering, ordering, and stock control.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
  • Lead sections during restaurant service and high-volume events, including private function.
  • Building and being a part of a cohesive, skilled team.
  • Collaborate with management to balance creativity, guest satisfaction, and profitability.
