EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent experience in a busy kitchen.
  • Strong background in menu planning, bulk cooking, and large-scale catering.
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Positive, approachable, and team-oriented attitude.
  • A genuine passion for food and a drive to learn and develop.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead the kitchen in the absence of senior chefs, guiding and supporting your team.
  • Supervise and develop commis chefs, chef de parties, and other staff.
  • Manage food preparation, ordering, stock control, and service delivery.
  • Ensure strict compliance with EHO and food safety standards.
  • Maximise stock use and bring creativity to menu planning.
  • Work closely with Front of House to deliver a seamless dining experience.
  • Oversee sanitation and hygiene practices across the kitchen.
  • Prepare, produce, and present food to consistently high standards.
