Location: Burnaston, Derby£16.00 per hour plus Sodexo benefitsWeekly Hours: 405 days per week - Monday to Friday

What you’ll do:

  • Prepare and cook meals to agreed standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain efficiency.
  • Maintain high levels of food hygiene and safety, adhering to company and statutory regulations.
  • Assist the Chef Manager in menu planning, stock control, and budgeting.
  • Investigate and respond to customer feedback, ensuring continuous service improvements.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is used and maintained safely.
  • Support the team in maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment.

What you bring:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Chef in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and mentor the kitchen team.
  • A deep understanding of food safety, hygiene regulations, and stock management.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for great food and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
