An exciting opportunity for a Supervisor to join the team at the Seven Stars in Ledbury, an historic inn in the heart of the town.
As one of Lebury’s favourite restaurants, our philosophy is about local and traditional food, with an emphasis on quality. Breeding our own pigs, our commitment runs throughout everything we do. Right down to the homemade shortbreads to go with our coffees.
The role would be suited to a passionate Sous Chef who is able to demonstrate previous experience of delivering an exceptional menu and able to maintain a high standard of food safety, and work collaboratively within a team, as well as taking leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Head Chef.

Must have’s for working as a Sous Chef within our venue:

  • Food Safety Level 2
  • Great communication skills
  • Lead by example
  • Help mentor junior staff
  • Ability to deliver a sophisticated menu to a consistently high standard
  • Able to lead a team, and carry out kitchen management tasks in the absence of the Head Chef
  • Be creative with menu items and specials
  • Forward thinking

The successful candidate will also have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to be calm and work under pressure, the natural ability to work on their own initiative or as part of a team and a high attention to detail.
Salary up to £29,000 per annum.
