The hotel is a beautifully refurbished period property, offering 8 character-filled bedrooms, two self-contained cottages, and a recently relaunched restaurant and bar. Set within 9 acres of picturesque grounds, this family-owned hotel delivers a unique blend of warm, personal service and high culinary standards. The food offering is rooted in traditional English cuisine with imaginative international influences, all crafted with technical precision and flair.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, passionate Sous Chef to step into a key role at a property that’s entering a dynamic new phase of its development.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistently high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to meet menu specifications.
  • Help manage and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient working environment.
  • Maintain compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations at all times.
  • Contribute to menu development, bringing fresh ideas and creativity to seasonal dishes and specials.
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.
