SOUS CHEF – THE ANCHOR PUB, OXFORD

The Anchor Pub, a newly opened venue in Oxford, is looking for a dedicated and talented Sous Chef to join our growing team. We pride ourselves on serving fresh, locally sourced food in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. As we expand, we need an enthusiastic individual to help us deliver top-quality dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in the smooth running of the kitchen.
  • Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standard.
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness and organisation.
  • Help manage stock and maintain food safety standards.
  • Mentor and support junior kitchen staff.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure efficient service and excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
  • A passion for fresh, high-quality food.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude.
