As a Sous Chef at The Birdhouse, you will:
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create and execute new menu items.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Relevant experience in Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Al a carte settings.
- Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior CDP or Sous Chef in a high-quality restaurant.
- A passion for culinary excellence and creativity.
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Relevant culinary qualifications will be an advantage.
