JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team at The Copper Note. The Copper Note is a casual, upscale fine dining restaurant, set to fully open this October 2025. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, and maintaining exceptional standards of food safety and hygiene. This position requires strong leadership abilities, culinary expertise, and experience in various aspects of kitchen management.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a culinary role within a fine dining or high-volume restaurant setting.
  • Strong background in food production, menu planning, and kitchen management.
  • Experience supervising staff and managing team dynamics effectively.
  • Knowledge of inventory management practices and food service operations.
  • Familiarity with dietary department operations is a plus.
  • Excellent cooking skills with a focus on presentation and flavor profiles.
  • Understanding of food safety standards and regulations within the food industry.
