SOUS CHEF – IMMEDIATE START | LIVE-IN AVAILABLE | HELP SHAPE OUR MENUS

We’re looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic Sous Chef (or experienced CDP ready to step up) to join our small, friendly team at a much-loved rural pub near Shaftesbury, Dorset.
Our food is all about fresh, seasonal, local produce but not fussy dishes. It’s a great time to join as we grow our menus and events.

Responsibilities
  • Work with our Head Chef to deliver delicious, seasonal food for the pub and weddings/events.
  • Run shifts, keep service smooth, and lead the team when the Head Chef’s off.
  • Keep standards high – from presentation to hygiene.
  • Help with ordering, stock, and prep.
  • Bring fresh ideas and get involved in creating new dishes and menus.
  • Support and train junior chefs.
