About the RoleWe’re looking for a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at the Dalmeny Hotel, Lytham St. Annes.
Our kitchen delivers a wide range of high-quality offerings, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea, weddings, banquets, and buffets – providing variety and excitement every day.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated culinary professional who thrives in a busy, creative environment and is eager to play a key role in delivering outstanding dishes and memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Help in the planning and development of menus, incorporating seasonal and fresh ingredients.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring effective communication and cohesive teamwork.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and procurement of supplies.
  • Maintain strict Food / Health & Safety standards in the kitchen.
  • Ensure all food safety paperwork, cleaning schedules are kept up to date.
  • Handle any issues that arise in the kitchen and act as the Head Chef’s second in command.
  • Ensure dishes are prepared and presented in a timely manner.
