EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in culinary operations.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of food production.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment.
  • Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to manage inventory, ordering supplies, and minimising waste.
  • Participate in cooking and preparing meals during service periods as needed.
