GALWAY HARBOUR HOTEL SOUS CHEF

Assist in the delivery of hotel revenue and profit growth through good menu planning, efficient production, cost control and systematic training with each team member. You need to set example through your actions and deeds and that you foster a supportive and appreciative relationship with the Kitchen team.

Main Duties-

  • Assist Head Chef in managing the kitchen team, through people practices such as training, development, and effective rostering to foster a motivated teamwork environment.
  • Development of menu and dishes while adhering to GP’s to exceed our guests expectations.
  • Ensuring utmost cleanliness in the kitchen in line with legislation.
  • Carrying out regular stock takes and ordering food items using the company ordering system Procure Wizard.
  • Ensure that the speed and coordination of food preparation in the kitchen delivers the food for the customers quickly, completely, and in the appropriate order.
