We are currently seeking an experienced Sous Chef with a potential opportunity for promotion within an established and successful company.
We are a modern Italian/English restaurant is set in simply stunning surroundings, on the beautiful Wareham Quay.
We have some of the best reviews in the area, and we’re proud of what we do. We offer a delightful fusion of Italian & British in a contemporary and relaxed atmosphere. We’re always looking for ways to improve our menu and our service.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience as a sous chef in a busy kitchen, preferably a high volume establishment, with a passion for cooking
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, and the desire to improve on these qualities
  • The ability to work well under pressure
  • A strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • A valid food hygiene certificate
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Competence in excel, able to compile reports reflecting provided data
  • Excellent organisational and logistical skills
  • A positive team player who is resilient to peaks and troughs

  • Assisting the head chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
  • Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes
  • Managing and training junior kitchen staff
  • Ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standard
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Ordering and managing stock levels
  • Ensuring that all health and safety regulations are adhered to
  • Analysing kitchen data and making recommendations for improvement
  • Organising and managing kitchen logistics
  • Being a team player and supporting other staff members during peak periods
