Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations and daily execution
  • Supervise and mentor cooks and kitchen staff in food preparation, plating, and presentation
  • Manage shift planning, prep schedules, and station rotation to ensure smooth service flow
  • Participate in menu planning, recipe development, and creative tastings
  • Monitor inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain budgeted food and labor costs
  • Uphold high standards for cleanliness, kitchen safety, and sanitation protocols
  • Troubleshoot issues proactively and maintain operational flow during cooking and service times
