JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. In this role, you will support the Executive Head Chef and Head Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes and maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of modern culinary techniques, kitchen equipment, and cooking methods.
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to food quality and safety.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Head Chef and Head Chef with daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high standards.
  • Prepare and cook dishes in line with recipes, presentation standards, and quality expectations.
  • Enforce food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols consistently.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as necessary.
  • Contribute to the development of new menu items and seasonal offerings.
  • Train, support, and mentor junior kitchen team members.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped kitchen at all times.
