Full-Time | Between $60-$65k Based on Experience | Profit Share | Full Benefits

We’re looking for a Sous Chef to help lead the kitchen at Local Three and Warhorse Investments and the talented team behind it. Someone who cares about craft, consistency, and keeping the bar high every single shift. A chef with a highly honed sense of ownership, meticulous attention to detail, and a high level of “give a $h!t.”
This isn’t a “check the boxes and watch from the sidelines” Sous Chef position. You’ll be in the kitchen when it counts, leading service from the heat of the action, and keeping the BOH running smoothly and efficiently. You’ll work side-by-side with our Chef de Cuisine, collaborating on menus, training cooks, sourcing product, and holding the standards that make Local Three’s kitchen one of the best in the city.

We want someone who:

  • Cooks like they mean it and can teach others to do the same. Think Mr. Miyagi, but with knives…
  • Leads with calm, confidence, and a sense of urgency.
  • Sees a problem and fixes it before it hits the guest.
  • Knows that leadership means setting the tone every single shift.
  • Takes ownership of their kitchen, their numbers, and their team. Captain Picard level command, minus the spaceship.
  • The kitchen is clean, organized, and on point. Every day.
  • The food is consistent, beautiful, and exceeds guest expectations
  • The team knows their stuff because you trained them to cook and execute at a high level
  • Labor and food costs are in line because you’re on top of it.
  • Service runs smoothly because you planned for it.
  • You’re proud to put your name on every plate that leaves the pass.
  • 2+ years of relevant kitchen leadership experience.
  • Strong skills in training, cooking, menu costing, and product sourcing
  • Ability to thrive in a high energy, high standard, scratch environment.
  • Clear communication and the ability to earn trust and respect from your team.
  • The drive to keep learning and improving every day.
  • Annual salary in the $60,000 - $65,000 range based on experience.
