The Gardens Cafe is located within the Australian Botanic Gardens Mount Annan, is a family friendly cafe known for its beautiful surroundings, good food and service.
We currently have a rare opportunity available and are seeking an experienced Head Chef to join our friendly team.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Self-disciplined team player with initiative
• Organised and customer focused
• Minimum 3 years’ experience
• Oversee the WHS procedures
• Trade certificate in commercial cookery
• Food safety supervisor qualification

• Solid understanding of food safety standards and awareness of current culinary trends.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to stay organised and perform effectively in high-pressure environments.
• Relevant culinary qualifications and hands-on kitchen experience.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, and public holidays.
• Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia.
• Drivers licence as location is not near public transport.

We are seeking a dynamic Chef who will efficiently assist the team to manage the kitchen operations, with a high focus on quality, presentation & time efficiency.
Our kitchen shifts are from 7.30am until 3.30pm daily.
This is a full-time role requiring availability to work weekends and public holidays, with 2 days off during the week. There is potential to work an extra day should that be a preference, however it is not required.
