The Oliver St. John Gogarty Bar and Restaurant winner of the Good Eating Guide Best Gastro Pub in 2013, is located in Temple Bar in the centre of Dublin City. Gogartys is one of the must visit venues in Temple Bar and is well established as an icon of the area. It comprises extremely busy bars spread over a number of levels and a restaurant and serves a dynamic customer base. This establishment has a wide and varied food offering in both the bars and restaurant.
The Oliver St. John Gogarty has vacancies for Senior chefs looking to form part of a dynamic team. The positions would suit applicants with at least 2 years prior experience in chef position and looking to further their career and enthusiastic about new challenges.

Responsibilities

· Ability to prepare and cook food in a busy environment.
· Prepare and cook food to the highest quality ensuring consistency in the final product.
· Recognised catering/hospitality qualifications beneficial
· Good organisational skills are essential and ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment
· Full knowledge of HACCP
· Comply with all H&S requirements, specifically COVID-19 protocols
· Assist head chef and sous chef in developing new dishes and menus
· Good knowledge of traditional Irish food an advantage
· Full flexibility with regard to working hours.
