We specialize in dosas, idlis, vadas, biryanis, and traditional South Indian curries, bringing the flavors of Tamil Nadu to Canada. We’re looking for a passionate and skilled South Indian Chef to lead our kitchen in delivering high-quality, authentic dishes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a South Indian Chef or Cook in a restaurant setting.
  • Expertise in dosa batter preparation, fermentation, and cooking techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of South Indian spices, flavors, and traditional recipes.
  • Ability to manage a busy kitchen and multitask effectively.
  • Food Handler’s Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Excellent teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Passion for delivering authentic culinary experiences.

  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of all dishes.
  • Develop and refine menu items to enhance customer experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the kitchen.
  • Manage food inventory, minimize waste, and control costs.
  • Train and guide kitchen staff in South Indian cooking techniques.
  • Work closely with management to introduce seasonal specials and new items.
  • Ensure timely preparation of food for dine-in, takeout, and catering orders.
